Terms and Conditions
1) KEY RESORTS LTD, trading as getabed, acts as agents for the companies and organisations featured on our website. These terms and conditions constitute the terms upon which we arrange the provision of products, services or facilities for you. The suppliers with whom you or your clients will be contracting have their own terms and conditions.
2) KEY RESORTS LTD.
a) Have taken care to ensure that the information provided on their website is accurate. However, in compiling it, we have to rely on the information supplied to us and we are unable to warrant its accuracy. Suppliers featured may change their product, facilities or schedules. This is unfortunately beyond our control and we are unable to accept liability. When we are told of significant changes, we will inform you at the time of booking or if a booking has already been made, as soon as reasonably possible.
b) The information, software, products, and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. In particular, KEY RESORTS LTD. and its affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim liability for inaccuracies relating to the information and description of the hotel and other travel products displayed on this website (including, without limitation, photographs, list of hotel amenities, general product descriptions, etc.), much of which information is provided by the respective suppliers. Any hotel ratings displayed on this website are intended as only general guidelines, and KEY RESORTS LTD. and its affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of the ratings. Changes are periodically added to the information herein. KEY RESORTS LTD, its affiliates and/or their respective suppliers may make improvements and/or changes on this web site at any time.
3) PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS
a) Bookings will be accepted subject to these terms and conditions. Unless otherwise stated, as soon as a reservation number has been given in respect of a booking, a binding contract exists between us and payment is due. We will then send you a confirmation invoice showing details of the services booked. You must check this carefully and raise any queries immediately. Any subsequent changes will be subject to availability and may attract an alteration charge. KEY RESORTS LTD. reserves the right to refuse to accept a booking at its discretion.
b) The balance of payment is due at least 42 days prior to the date of travel UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED. A final invoice will not be sent. Documentation & vouchers will be released at time of booking by KEY RESORTS LTD. Prior to booking, you will be advised of the hotels cancellation charges and when they apply. You must confirm acceptance of these conditions before a booking is made. In the case of reservations made less than 42 days before the date of departure, full payment must be sent upon confirmation of the reservation. If payment is not received by the due date, KEY RESORTS LTD. reserves the right to cancel the reservation. The cost of the services booked is the amount shown on your confirmation invoice and is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges. Government action or any changes in taxation is excluded from this guarantee. This guarantee is subject to the conditions of payment being adhered to.
c) If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must do so on the website, using the ‘cancel bookings’ section, or you must send written notification to KEY RESORTS LTD. by the person named on the confirmation invoice. The date of the cancellation will be the date that KEY RESORTS LTD. receives this written notice. In the event of cancellation by you, any hotel cancellation charges will be displayed before you confirm cancellation. These will be the same terms that were accepted prior to confirming the booking.
d) If, once the reservation has been confirmed by KEY RESORTS LTD., you wish to make any alterations to the reservation details e.g. change of name, date, services, duration etc. KEY RESORTS LTD. will do all it can to assist you. The person named on the confirmation invoice must send a written alteration request to KEY RESORTS LTD. at least 42 days before the departure date. KEY RESORTS LTD will make any alterations that the hotel allows, however, if within the hotels cancellation terms, alterations may be charged for by the hotel.
4) CHANGES
Sometimes a supplier will change a booked service, product or facility prior to departure. If so, we will notify you of this as soon as possible. We will do all we can to arrange alternatives of equal or superior quality but this may not always be possible. As these changes are beyond our control, we can take no responsibility for any losses that may be occasioned by them.
5) RESORT FEES AND CITY TAXES
Please note that resort fees and city tourist taxes are now charged by hotels in some areas such as (but not exclusively) Florence, Rome, Las Vegas, Florida, Cologne, Budapest and some parts of France and Switzerland. These charges are determined by the hotel or city councils and are subject to change. They cannot be prepaid and are beyond the control of Getabed.co.uk.
6) LIABILITY
Whilst we always endeavour to perform or to secure the performance of all parts of the agreement fully, we cannot accept responsibility for, or offer compensation in respect of, circumstances where performance is prevented or affected or where we are forced to cancel, delay, curtail or otherwise make changes by reason of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions or other similar events beyond our control. We also act as agents for hotels, transport companies, and other suppliers of services. We accept responsibility for the acts, errors and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing they were at the time performing duties authorised by us) except where death or personal injury results. Booking fees may on occasions cause our rate to be higher than the hotels published rate. If this is the case no monies will be refunded by KEY RESORTS. KEY RESORTS cannot and will not guarantee bedding in any accommodation booked through us. Single, double, twin, triple and quad rooms refers to the number of adults in any room not the amount of beds. Where a problem arises, KEY RESORTS LTD. should be notified a maximum of 28 days after the last day of services provided. Failure to notify KEY RESORTS LTD. within this period will result in any claims not being reviewed.
7) FULL TERMS
These terms and conditions constitute the entire terms of the contract between us. Any alterations to these terms and conditions of business are only binding if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of this company. This agreement is governed by English law and exclusive jurisdiction is conferred on the English Courts. E&OE.
