Who are we?

Trading exclusively since 1991 to travel agents and tour operators Key Resorts Ltd t/a getabed.co.uk, are, arguably, the ‘oldest and best’ accommodation supplier in the UK.

Having concentrated solely on accommodation throughout North America from 1991, in 2003 our product was then expanded to include UK and Europe. In 2005 Key Resorts then underwent a re-brand to getabed.co.uk and launched a fantastic new worldwide product.

The getabed product range now incorporates over 40,000 hotels in 7500 destinations in over 167 countries worldwide. Unlike the new breed of hotel suppliers that have launched in recent years, getabed have always stayed true to our core values of only selling ‘b2b’, leaving the travel agents and tour operators to focus on the consumer.

Having seen growth in every year since 1998, the years 2006-2007 and 2007-2008, brought 100% growth year on year, endorsing the very hard work that continues at getabed every day by every member of the team. Customer service has always been getabed’s number one focus, in this digital age, it is something that many companies, sadly overlook.

Getabed are proud to of launched our new state of the art, website in January 2009. Giving our customers the kind of functionality to make and administer their bookings is not something on offer with any of our competitors and is something we are very proud of. In the internet age, we can also offer our customers access to our product via XML technology. Using the latest technology to ensure the speed and reliability of our website and our XML ensures getabed will continue to see huge growth in a very competitive marketplace.

Terms and Conditions

1) KEY RESORTS LTD, trading as getabed, acts as agents for the companies and organisations featured on our website. These terms and conditions constitute the terms upon which we arrange the provision of products, services or facilities for you. The suppliers with whom you or your clients will be contracting have their own terms and conditions.

2) KEY RESORTS LTD.
a) Have taken care to ensure that the information provided on their website is accurate. However, in compiling it, we have to rely on the information supplied to us and we are unable to warrant its accuracy. Suppliers featured may change their product, facilities or schedules. This is unfortunately beyond our control and we are unable to accept liability. When we are told of significant changes, we will inform you at the time of booking or if a booking has already been made, as soon as reasonably possible.

b) The information, software, products, and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. In particular, KEY RESORTS LTD. and its affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim liability for inaccuracies relating to the information and description of the hotel and other travel products displayed on this website (including, without limitation, photographs, list of hotel amenities, general product descriptions, etc.), much of which information is provided by the respective suppliers. Any hotel ratings displayed on this website are intended as only general guidelines, and KEY RESORTS LTD. and its affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of the ratings. Changes are periodically added to the information herein. KEY RESORTS LTD, its affiliates and/or their respective suppliers may make improvements and/or changes on this web site at any time.

3) PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS
a) Bookings will be accepted subject to these terms and conditions. Unless otherwise stated, as soon as a reservation number has been given in respect of a booking, a binding contract exists between us and payment is due. We will then send you a confirmation invoice showing details of the services booked. You must check this carefully and raise any queries immediately. Any subsequent changes will be subject to availability. KEY RESORTS LTD. reserves the right to refuse to accept a booking at its discretion.

Deposit requirements are as follows:

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION:
Whilst we do not ask for a deposit, we recommend you collect, as a minimum, the value of the 1st night's accommodation.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Amount specified at time of reservation.

b) The balance of payment is due at least 42 days prior to the date of travel UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED. A final invoice will not be sent. In the case of reservations made less than 42 days before the date of departure, full payment must be sent upon confirmation of the reservation. The cost of the services booked is the amount shown on your confirmation invoice and is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges. Government action or any changes in taxation is excluded from this guarantee. This guarantee is subject to the conditions of payment being adhered to.

c) If you wish to cancel your reservation with getabed, this must be done using the getabed website. This is done from the ‘manage bookings’ section of the website where you are able to locate a booking and then follow instructions to cancel. The website will confirm whether there are any cancellation charges that the hotel is levying, prior to confirming your booking, and these charges will also be displayed at the time of cancellation. Getabed do not have any cancellation charges, so there will not be any charge unless the hotel is applying one.
NO REFUNDS are possible for booked services which are not used.

d) If, once the reservation has been confirmed by KEY RESORTS LTD., you wish to make any alterations to the reservation details e.g. change of name, date, services, duration etc. KEY RESORTS LTD. will do all it can to assist you.

4) CHANGES
Sometimes a supplier will change a booked service, product or facility prior to departure. If so, we will notify you of this as soon as possible. We will do all we can to arrange alternatives of equal or superior quality but this may not always be possible. As these changes are beyond our control, we can take no responsibility for any losses that may be occasioned by them.

5) RESORT FEES
Please note that Resort Fees are now charged by hotels in some areas and are most prominent in Las Vegas and Florida. These charges are determined and collected locally by the hotel and are subject to change. These charges are beyond the control of getabed.co.uk and cannot be pre-paid.

6) LIABILITY
Whilst we always endeavour to perform or to secure the performance of all parts of the agreement fully, we cannot accept responsibility for, or offer compensation in respect of, circumstances where performance is prevented or affected or where we are forced to cancel, delay, curtail or otherwise make changes by reason of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions or other similar events beyond our control. We also act as agents for hotels, transport companies, and other suppliers of services. We accept responsibility for the acts, errors and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing they were at the time performing duties authorised by us) except where death or personal injury results. Booking fees may on occasions cause our rate to be higher than the hotels published rate. If this is the case no monies will be refunded by KEY RESORTS. KEY RESORTS cannot and will not guarantee bedding in any accommodation booked through us. Single, double, triple and quad rooms refers to the number of adults in any room not the amount of beds. Where a problem arises, KEY RESORTS LTD. should be notified a maximum of 28 days after the last day of services provided. Failure to notify KEY RESORTS LTD. within this period will result in any claims not being reviewed.

7) FULL TERMS
These terms and conditions constitute the entire terms of the contract between us. Any alterations to these terms and conditions of business are only binding if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of this company. This agreement is governed by English law and exclusive jurisdiction is conferred on the English Courts. E&OE.
